Avuncular?

Thats one word usually i struggle with.It means having kind and friendly attitude towards the less experienced.

In my foray into teaching;my struggles with this particular word have become more evident;being a trained procurement officer who has had to deal with tight deadlines and heavy workloads i can safely say being avuncular has never been a prerequisite skill required of me in any of my previous roles prior to becoming a teacher.

As someone who has had the privilege to work in both fields i can boldly say that the educational sector is a different beast altogether that requires tactful diplomacy and finesse to overcome challenges that may arise;am ever grateful to the students that i have encountered soo far in my tutorage journey

Through them am able to learn new skills and competencies that would have been other otherwise not afforded to me in the the world world of cut-throat finance.This newly acquired competencies has help me to become a better human and an excellent professional for that i will be eternally grateful to them and the field as whole.

Teaching has been an eye opening experience for me and i intend to use this unique opportunity afforded me to make a positive impression on the lives of the next generation of future leaders.
